There’s a new hidden pin on Club Penguin! Here’s how to find the Cupcake pin:

1. Click on the map in the lower left.

2. Go to the Ski Village.

3. Go to the Sports Shop.

4. Click on the Cupcake pin.

Club Penguin has just released the issue #232 of the Penguin Times newspaper.

On page A2, they talk about Penguin Play Awards Penguin and the winning play! The winner of Best Play will be featured at the Stage March 30.

On page A4, they talk about the April Fools which should be arriving to Club Penguin at April 1st! It’s a huge Club Penguin event that you don’t want to miss it because things get silly.

On page A6, they talk about the Underground Areas. Club Penguin says that the under-grounds areas are officially open for good.

This week’s on page B1 (In Focus),  Club Penguin guides you Stage Plays if you ever missed one.

Hey penguins! Today, the Club Penguin Play Awards 2010 launched. The Penguin Play Awards is an event where penguins get the choice to vote for their favorite play this year. The winning play at the Penguin Play Awards will return after this event is over.

This year, the top 5 plays you may choose from are: Squidzoid, Ruby and the Ruby, Underwater Adventure,  The Quest for the Golden Puffle, and Fairy Fables. To vote for your favorite play, follow these simple steps.

1. Open your map.
2. Go to the Plaza.
3. Waddle over to the voting booth.

Once you are at the voting booth, a message will appear on your screen. You can now select your favorite play for that certain category.

So there you have it! You can now vote for your favorite play in each category. But wait, that’s not all. There are a lot more things you experience at the Penguin Play Awards 2010! Once you walk inside the stage, you will notice how well decorated it is.

Once you are in the stage, if you are a member, and you waddle to the sign that says “Backstage” you will be in for a sweet surprise! Yes, you guess it. You get to go backstage! This is where you can meet the celebrity penguins such as Cadence and Aunt Arctic.

While you are backstage, don’t forget to pick up two of the free items! You can receive a video camera and a penguin play award. My favorite item is the video camera! To receive the penguin play award, waddle to the bottom left of the backstage.

Congratulations, you now have the penguin play award! To get the video camera, waddle to the top right of your screen. You will see a bunch of video cameras in a box.

If you take a look around the island, you will notice more than just one room is decorated for the Penguin Play Awards 2010. The new decorated rooms include the Ski Hill, Dock, and Pizza Parlor.Iif you waddle to the Dock, there will be a free item waiting for you!

Waddle to the bottom left of the Dock. There will be a box full of press hat’s. Click the hats to receive this item.

Congrautlaions, you have now obtained the press hat. Overall, I think the Penguin Play Awards 2010 was a total success. There are lots of things to see, obtain, and do. One of the most exciting things is you get the chance to meet Cadence and Aunt Arctic. Are you enjoying the Penguin Play Awards 2010?

Things are going great in the Mine with lots of you joining in the construction. Keep up the hard work! Last week we asked about the bravest underground adventure you’d ever been on with your buddies, and Pengoozle said:

My friends and I went exploring for the lost caves of the dreaded Squidzoid and the terrible Fishzilla! lol We would waddle around pretending to be following a trail or a map and then we’d go underwater and one of us would hide dressed as Squidzoid or Fishzilla and jump out! Can’t wait for the undergound to open up again!!!!

Some of you are saying that the missing puffles are down in the Underground Caves, and are getting ready to help find them. So this week, we’d like to hear your daring rescue stories!
